Property and in particular reinventing spaces has always been a passion. I can still remember my first project; I was in high school and my parents had bought an old 1970’s house. They decided to gut it, skim over all the stipple walls, and redesign the kitchen and bathrooms. It seemed natural for me to help with the layout and selection of finishes for the house. At the time “happy doors” and yellow walls where the flavour of the moment!
I have always wanted to design and develop a mixed-use commercial space and after a trip to Europe in 2014 – having spent a few days in Berlin getting lost in the streets of Mitte and surrounds, I could visualize how this place must have looked before creative people started moving in and uplifting it.
Berlin made me think of Woodstock in years to come and when I returned I began looking, spending countless hours riding around on my scooter observing and thinking. Until one day a friend told me about a collection of buildings he had found that where in a state of near disrepair, but packed with character and in a great corner of Woodstock.
That was the start of this journey my partner and I are on, converting a collection of beautiful buildings into spaces where people can work, play and relax. In the past year alone I have seen countless old ladies of Woodstock being restored and turned into interesting shops, restaurants and offices.
Although we are not showing space just yet, but the spaces are available for shoots and filming and anyone is welcome to send me their details to email@example.com should you be interesting in receive more info about space to rent.
