A tasting room for award winning olive oil, nestled on the slopes of the Stellenbosch mountains.
Our brief was to convert a small space on the farm into a tasting experience for Chaloner’s oils and artisanal food products. The space needed to speak to the brands ‘no compromise’ approach, and use of only the best quality ingredients.
We made use of locally sourced stone for the shell, charred timber joinery and an aged brass liquid-oil like table for tasting at. Waxed steel portico’s allow one to get a view into the production area.
All designed and made in our Cape Town based studio and workshop.
